Hazelnut Day 2019
The most hazelnutty weekend of the year at FICO

Hazelnut Day is back, the crunchiest, hazelnuttiest weekend of the year at FICO Eataly World, held on Saturday and Sunday, December 7-8, 2019 and featuring a delicious program organized by food writers Clara and Gigi Padovani together with Irma Brizi and Rosario D’Acunto of the Associazione Nazionale Città della Nocciola (National Association of Hazelnut Cities). This second edition of the event was organized in partnership with the Associazione Nazionale Città della Nocciola (National Association of Hazelnut Cities) and FICO Foundation.

12:00 noon | FICO Central Arena – Free admission
Opening of the market for producers of hazelnuts and hazelnut specialties around the Central Arena and event inauguration. Presentation of the Italian Hazelnut. History, territories, and tastings of the three European-marked hazelnuts: Piemonte Hazelnut PGI; Roman Hazelnut PDO; Giffoni Hazelnut PGI. With the Brunyola, Catalonia hazelnut. With a hazelnut-based aperitif.

"Hazelnut-spirits - hazelnut beer and liqueurs - “Brigante Brutus” Giffoni round hazelnut beer (Arechi). The liqueurs: from Campania "Tondo," a very fine liqueur made from Giffoni round hazelnut (Rend) and "Noccior" (Capece); from Piemonte "Noisette" of Anselmo (Torino) and "Nizurin" from Cortemilia.

The special dinner for #hazelnutday at La Campofilone restaurant. Price, including water and wine from the Marche region: €30
-    Fried cream covered with chopped hazelnuts
