On Saturday November 10th, at 11.00 am, there will be an event with Marco Bianchi, food mentor and scientific communicator for the Umberto Veronesi Foundation with the contribution of Oricon, Collective Catering and Nutrition Observatory in a morning dedicated to parents and kids.
We are all concerned about children’s diet and that’s why this year Marco had started a journey of study and research in order to deepen the food industry in the world of school catering and also benefits other parents to follow him in this project providing them an honest and conscious point of view.
Marco has covered all the stages, from the ground to the schools, thanks to the Observatory, which has mobilized the entire network of companies to support Marco in this initiative, allowing him to enter in the cooking establishments, visit the fields of cultivation, interview the suppliers, learning about cooks and canteens staff, and to talk with the nutritionists.
School catering, often underestimated, has a very important role and an important social responsibility. Approximately, one million children are served every day, offering them a balanced and controlled meal. This is why it is essential to go to the discovery of this sector, meet the people who work there, see processes and raw materials to be able to trust those who take care of children every day!
In this meeting, Marco Bianchi will tell everything about this project by making himself available for any advice and questions on our children’s education and health.
